I’ve Got A Problem, Episode 2

Hello everyone and welcome to I’ve Got A Problem… with the Legend of Korra!

I usually save this series for content which fails in a most spectacular manner or which enrages me a whole lot, and this is one of them.

And trust me, this fails as well as enrages me, like you would NOT believe.

Hell, I could have made a fucking documentary out of all the failings of this show. And to think, it came from the same people who made the pretty damned good Avatar- The Last Airbender.

  1. Aaand in the first episode of book 2, Mako and Korra are now making happy lovey-dovey faces at one another and Mako’s telling her to do what her heart tells her to do at the end…Blegh.

    1. Wait, were you at the SDCC for the Legend of Korra panel? Did you see the episode? Genuinely curious because if that’s so and that’s what you saw, then yuck, no big surprise there that they’re shoving Makorra ship down our throats so soon.

  2. No, I wasn’t but someone posted screenshots and someone else posted the summary to the first episode here-http://elventhespian.tumblr.com/post/55941534656/book-2-recap-part-1
I wasn’t surprised that Mako’s being made into Mr. Perfect because Bryke spent 25% of their blu-ray commentary defending Mako’s actions with excuses like “Korra kissed him first” and “he was good to go to Korra because he broke up subtly with Asami” and his voice actor can relate to his problems because “women confuse him.” Actually, Bryke really seems to like their main couple despite everyone else hating it, saying that they were “meant for each other” and that “Mako was the person she felt a close connection to so that’s why she airbended to save him.”
